Harder than I thought!!

I don't think I'll be giving my little brother anymore flak for not updating his blog.  It isn't easy to keep a running commentary going from week to week.  Day to day things just get in the way. 

There are a couple of house keeping things to take care of.  First of all... thanks to Meng, Kristen, Chimpy, and Jojo for their wonderful gifts.

These will come in handy for the expectant mom... but what about the expectant dad?

Now on to other business.  Betsy is doing great!  A few days ago she thought she felt the baby moving, but she wasn't sure.  Well on Monday, things were different.  I walked into the room and saw this look on her face.  It was so amazingly sweet.  She felt the baby move and this time she was sure.  Ever since that point, she has been feeling the baby moving like crazy.  At one point she said that it felt like the baby was doing fan kicks in there!  We are expecting a dancing baby!! I love it!  I can't wait to be able to feel it from the outside.  I think I might be jealous!  Well, maybe to a certain degree.  ;)

This is week 19.  I think I have this week thing nailed down now. Sort of.  The baby is supposed to be about 6 inches long now.  The baby's gender at this point is already evident.  We will find out in one week!  I'm totally excited!  Well, that's it for now.  Betsy is growing and more beautiful than ever.  She says I'm biased.  Maybe so... but jeeze!!!  This is the most amazing adventure ever!
