A couple of days ago Betsy got her first random stranger (well, not a
complete stranger... more of a way distant acquaintance) belly rub! We've determined that we think it's just plain rude if someone you barely even know just reaches out without warning and puts a hand on your belly. I figure it's something we better get used to. Although I've always asked permission before touching a pregnant woman's belly.
On a happier note, Betsy is over her cold! I was over it as well until... it came back with a vengeance!! At least one of us is feeling better. Betsy is doing fine. No morning sickness or anything. One of the lucky ones. I keep waiting for her to feel the baby, but that might take a couple of more weeks. I didn't realize what a waiting game this process is. We don't do well on the waiting. We moved in together within 2 months of dating, we were engaged about 9 weeks before getting married, once we saw our house we were quick to jump on it... now we have to wait for a baby? We are at 16 weeks. That means 24 more weeks to go! Crazy! The books tell us that the baby is about 4 to 5 inches long right now. JB's muscles are getting stronger and the eyes are working and perceiving light. There is so much to do! I'm actually glad we have to wait for the baby. It'll give us time to prepare and maybe catch up on some sleep. Speaking of catching up... Here are a few pictures to share with you.
Another baby gift came in the mail. It's from our good friends the Harrison's!!

Made with love by the mad knitter... Gina!
Last but not least... Another picture of the happy couple showing off the proud little bump. Hmmm... What do you think? Is she showing? ;)

We can't wait until the baby can try on your gift!!
do you think JB will out grow it by the time we visit?
I honestly don't know! But don't worry, we will make sure that there are many pictures of JB modeling Aunty Gina's creation.
I'm an honorary Aunty!?! I feel so loved and awesome - thanks guys!
