We are expecting!!!

     Where do I start?  Betsy and I had a great weekend at my brother Jerrold's house.  We had an awesome time playing with his kids.  Both of them loved Betsy!  But then again, who doesn't?

     We got home on Monday, December 15th to extremely cold weather.  After settling in and cranking up the heat in our house (it was 48 degrees!) we decided to go to bed.  The next morning at about 6 I heard a little voice from the other room saying, "Honey, could you turn on the lights for a minute?"  That's when she showed me "the stick."  For once... I was speechless.  This was exciting news!!  We wanted to be sure though.  Unfortunately, I had to go to work.  How could I even think about work at this point?  Betsy took another test while I was at work and she emailed me that picture.  Two positives!!!  We still had a tinge of skepticism going though.

     Betsy had the day off so she set up an appointment to see the doctor and make it official.  I decided it was time to play hooky.  I snuck away from work and took her to the doctor's office.  What can I say?  I love my wife!  To make a long story short... WE ARE EXPECTING!!!  I am so completely happy and shocked and flabbergasted and just about crazy with excitement!!

     Well, that's just about all for now.  We are waiting until Christmas to tell everyone.  This is the hardest secret I have ever had to keep!  I just want to yell it out to everyone!!  More to come soon!
